Good Character?
The word "good" comes from the word "God". Good character is that which shows qualities we find in God Himself--truthfulness, faithfulness, love, concern for others, mercy, compassion, and so on. What better source, then, for learning how to have good character than in "The Good Book"--the Holy Bible? Our "Character Building from the Bible" lessons have proven very popular in Ghanaian schools, and now we are sharing them in Uganda as well.
A Holiday Bible camp is a fun way to learn more about the Bible and its character-building stories. We sing zesty songs, act out stories, play games, memorize Bible verses by singing and dancing to them, increase our vocabulary, and enjoy arts and crafts and many other activities. In some areas we include a snack or a meal or a first aid clinic, according to need. Children LOVE the camps!
